What looks like anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD or other mood conditions is often nervous system dysregulation. I’m a Licensed Psychotherapist with specialized training to treat the underlying issue.
I use Somatic Psychotherapy and EMDR to target the trauma responses stored in your body’s cells and nervous system, creating lasting change you can feel.
Holistic Healing that Addresses the Whole Person & Root Causes, Not Just Symptoms
Most of us have not been educated on the nervous system and how it is foundational to how we feel mentally and physically. It deserves attention, understanding, and healing if you desire lasting change. It is biological fact that nervous system dysregulation is an underlying and primary cause of every mental health disorder, autoimmune, and other bodily system dysfunction. This isn’t alternative medicine — it’s science.
When emotions (aka chemical energy) get suppressed in the body for too long, the mind and body begins to decompensate and get sick in various ways.
The health of your nervous system sets the stage from which every other system either functions or struggles. If your nervous system is struggling, you can anticipate other system issues will start to surface with time.

Full Disclosure: Even though I work through more of a holistic lens, I am not against medicine. I am aware and believe whole-heartedly that every day medicine saves lives and can help with many conditions and diseases. I also respect and believe it’s an individual’s choice on how they want to navigate their healthcare. Personally, I have taken medicine in the past for anxiety and depression symptoms during a time in my life where I was overwhelmed and living in survival mode. I didn’t know it at the time, but my nervous system was shot, and medicine helped me remain functional during the hardest time of my life where I had to make some incredibly tough decisions. I was one of the lucky ones, in that, I found a medication that worked for me on my first attempt. It did help take the “edge” off…so it did its job…it helped me better regulate by increasing the level of serotonin in my brain. I didn’t feel as many physical and mental symptoms, slept better, was able to function and deal with the demands of life easier.
Feeling less overwhelmed, less irritable, and noticing that my mind raced less was enjoyable for me (and certainly my loved ones too). Time passed, crisis settled, and I found my way into deeper healing that led to no longer requiring the support of medicine. All of this sharing to end with… I get it. Whether medicine is a yes or no for you in doing your inner work, it makes no difference to me.

We all have our own story and how we got to this present moment. I’d be honored to walk beside you in this journey if you feel curious about doing deeper work to eliminate any “old stuff” or current struggles that you know deep down is not serving you (or perhaps even your loved ones) in any positive way.
Are you ready to work on your avoidance tendancies to word toward more peace and resolution? We can’t go back and get more time. That’s a hard truth in life. But we can choose a different approach. Freedom awaits you on the other side.

Discover the Benefit of Somatic Psychotherapy & Somatic EMDR – Experience the Wisdom of Human Nature
I am a life long lover of nature, growth, learning, and health. I have experienced plenty of setbacks, pain, loss, and failures in life, which led me to this profession in the first place. When new traumatic experiences happened, I began researching options for deeper work to effectively heal and get in touch with my own authenticity, liberation, and to reclaim a felt sense of safety in my body. It is because of my personal experience of being on the receiving end of deeper (nervous system) work that it became clear to me this was my path forward both personally and professionally. I shifted my practice from being based off of mostly cognitive apporaches and transitioned to Mind – Body work. I needed to be able to offer this approach to my clients, because my results were incredible.
Learn the language of the body, how to listen to your body’s wisdom, and regulate your emotions by noticing and sustaining awareness of sensations.
Sustaining awareness of sensations is what regulates the nervous system, moves old danger responses or alarm and suppressed emotion through the body metabolically, which improves our level of presence. This can leave one to feel less alarm or distress in the body and mind overall as the nervous system gets an update to today’s real time and is no longer living in the past (when safety was compromised). One may feel more moments of being grounded, having more ability to focus, and feel more clarity in their own dilemmas. When dysregulation decreases, presence improves, and we can naturally engage with more connection to self. Then there is an opportunity for one’s truth and discernment to surface and become accessible.
